AiliA SA request fintech autorisation
On 8 July 2021 Ailia SA submitted an application for a Fintech licence to the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (Finma).
AiliA SA is the parent company of Takamaka Blockchain having its headquarters in Weinberghöhe 27, 6300 Zug (CH). With this application Takamaka is a serious candidate to become a Fintech Bank.
Switzerland has strict regulations on virtual assets and anti-money laundering and has already enacted the taxation of such instruments. Finma has repeatedly reiterated the concept of ‘technological neutrality.
It does not matter if the means of payment used for transactions is the blockchain, what is important is to fight money laundering and at the same time recognising the industry’s potential for innovation that this technology deserves.
Having already acquired the VQF licence, AiliA SA proposes to obtain a Fintech and banking authorisation by submitting its own application to Finma Banking Division – Bern.
Our efforts are focused on realizing a fully regulated digital asset bank. We are confident on AiliA SA establishing the “Takamaka Bank” and that will represent an important step towards the mainstream adoption of digital assets in regulated finance, able to create a new financial paradigm.
